Is Jesus God?

… Jesus acknowledges the Father as the only true God in John 17:3, where he prays, ‘And this is eternal life, that they may know You, the only true God, and Jesus Christ whom You have sent.’ This statement makes a clear distinction between Jesus and God. In addition, Jesus consistently affirms his dependence on God, as seen in John 5:30, where he says, ‘I can do nothing on my own. As I hear, I judge, and my judgment is just, because I seek not my own will but the will of him who sent me.’ If Jesus were God, such dependence would be inconsistent with his nature. …

Is Jesus the son of god?

… Jesus as ‘Son of God’ emphasizes his unique role and mission, not a physical relationship. Jesus himself often uses language that clarifies his spiritual connection with God. For example, in John 10:36, Jesus says, ‘Do you say of him whom the Father consecrated and sent into the world, ‘You are blaspheming,’ because I said, ‘I am the Son of God’?’ Jesus describes himself as ‘consecrated and sent,’ pointing to a divinely appointed mission rather than a literal sonship. …

Is the trinity viable within the scriptures?

… The Bible, regarded as the primary source of Christian faith, does not contain a single verse that explicitly defines God as a Trinity. Instead, the doctrine is a later theological construct based on interpretations of selected passages. For example, in John 17:3, Jesus himself emphasizes the oneness of God: ‘Now this is eternal life: that they know you, the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom you have sent.’ Jesus’ prayer identifies the Father as ‘the only true God,’ separating himself from being co-equal with God. …

Why is the bible an unreliable source?

… The Bible contains contradictions and inconsistencies that challenge its reliability as an inerrant source. For example, Genesis presents two differing creation accounts—one where humans are created last, and another where Adam is created first. The genealogies of Jesus also contradict each other between the Gospels of Matthew and Luke. Additionally, events like the resurrection of Jesus and the death of Judas Iscariot are recounted differently in various passages. These discrepancies, along with historical and scientific inaccuracies such as the age of the Earth and the Exodus, complicate the Bible’s status as a wholly reliable source. …

What does the Quran have to say about Jesus?

… In Islam, Jesus is held in the highest regard as a prophet, messenger, and servant of Allah. The Qur’an emphasizes his miraculous birth to the Virgin Mary and his role in guiding the Children of Israel to worship the One God. Jesus performed many miracles, but these were by the will of Allah to support his prophethood. Contrary to the Christian belief in his divinity, the Qur’an consistently portrays Jesus as a servant of Allah, stressing the oneness of God. Additionally, the Qur’an asserts that Jesus was not crucified but was raised to Allah, and his return will signal the Day of Judgment. …

How do we know the Quran is the word of god?

… The Qur’an is the final and unaltered word of God, revealed to the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) over a period of 23 years. It is regarded as the ‘Kalam Allah,’ the divine speech of Allah, and is a timeless guide for humanity. One of the key reasons why the Qur’an is considered the preserved word of Allah is the promise made in the Qur’an itself. Allah states in Surah Al-Hijr (15:9), ‘Indeed, it is We who sent down the Qur’an, and indeed, We will be its guardian.’ This divine guarantee ensures that the Qur’an has remained unchanged and will be protected from any corruption or alteration throughout history. …

These are just some basic arguments to use. Each one of them is based on evidences. It would be better if you mark them down in your bible to have a physical book to show, so they can see the evidence. If you don’t have one, you can pay £10 and I will send you one personally.
